A growing a real estate company in the Baltimore metro area seeks a qualified Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Role

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will handle daily AR activities including billing, cash application, customer communication, and invoice follow-up. This position also supports the rail and marine business units and offers a path to expand into more full-cycle accounting within 1-2 years.

This is an onsite role with covered parking and a business casual environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process debits and credits and transition into cash receipts responsibilities
  • Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices
  • Manage billing and follow up on past-due invoices
  • Apply incoming cash and maintain accurate payment records
  • Respond to customer questions regarding invoices or account activity
  • Support accounting needs for rail and marine operations
  • Assist with additional accounting duties as skills develop, including future general ledger exposure

Software Experience

  • NetSuite experience a plus, but not required
